Create An Heirloom Cookbook In One Day
I have started my cookie cookbook and hope to have all the recipes input this week end. I will then create the cookies for photos and make sure I test and taste the recipes and double check and proof my typing. I am using the free Microsoft template for cookbooks that has been a test of my patience but I have decided to ignore the formatting until I have completed with addition of the photos. I will keep you posted on my progress next week.
I have attached the press release below for my cookbook creation seminar attend if you can. I will update this blog with information after I speak. You can complete your cookbook in one day.
Create An Heirloom Cookbook In One Day
In celebration of the launch of MGS’ new cookbook Recipes of Our Ancestors, join the MGS Writing Group for this special free class on Saturday November 13 at 10:30 a.m.!
Hella Buchheim, Minnesota author of Plate Full of Memories will be addressing at 1185 Concord St. N. Suite 218 South St. Paul, to discuss how you can create an Heirloom Cookbook in One Day-Thanksgivings.
She will be discussing how to collect the family stories, family photographs and recipes so that it can all be collected on this Thanksgiving’s Day. Many of the elements she will talk about can be used any other time of year and over a period of time but it can be done in one day.
“Most of us talk about how we want to create an Heirloom Cookbook but keep putting it off so why not use the holiday to expedite the process and get it done and get it done this Thanksgiving. You can have it totally completed and ready to give as gifts this Christmas,” said Buchheim.
Creating an Heirloom Cookbook is one way to keep all the family traditions and family recipes in one place to be shared with future generations of your family.
“With so many families spread out over the United States, the gathering of families at Thanksgivings can help give you the perfect forum to collect all the stories and recipes quickly while family members are dresses up for the holiday. And with several generations under one roof everyone can have a task to help with the completion,” add Buchheim.
Buchheim continued, “While others are watching football and washing dishes, you can start entering the recipes into the cookbook. It might be the perfect way to spend the day.”
