Where is the dirt
I often speak about cookbook writing and say that you need to add your household cleaning tips. My mother always cleaned windows with the newspaper since it was cheap and left no lint on her windows. Now that papers are disappearing I wonder what will make the best substitute. Also, she suggested never do windows on a sunny day. Cloudy or overcast are the best to have streak free windows.
My household cleaning products have changed over the years. I am much more careful about what I use. I started a few years back to clean my counters with Mrs. Meyers. Then Mrs. Meyers moved into my shower. Then she helped clean my windows. I have slowly given all my clean chores to her. Mostly I was thinking I was supporting a small local company which I know that we are both from Minnesota. I was wrong again. She sold her company to SC Johnson. She did okay for herself and my house smells fresher because of her.
