Organization is the Key Ingredient For Cookbook Writing
You heard it from your mother and father, "stay focused and any task is doable." So why would such a major project like creating a cookbook any different. The organization skills that you need to create a cookbook are not a bit different from the skills you use to create any meal. You need to check the recipes to see if you have all the ingredients in your pantry, you need to make sure you have all the tools to mix, bake, fry or broil, and then your need to make sure you have the time to put it all together. When you write your cookbook you need to collect all the recipes, make sure the recipes are correct, in put them into your computer and then print them. Sounds easy but the hardest part is collecting the recipes and that is why we spend so much time on A Plate Full of Memories with templates to gather your recipes. Without your family recipes your are just collecting recipes and making a cookbook but with your family's recipes your are making an heirloom.
